Policies and Procedures
Admission to all publicly offered Adult, Corporate Education, and Continuing Education programs is open to adults 18 years and older on a first-come, space-available basis unless special admission requirements must be met. Payment of registration fees and any additional fees must also be made prior to attending class. See course schedule for current registration fees
Students are required to attend class every day and to follow in class study guide parameters, successfully completing all assigned projects as directed by their instructor. Instructors will maintain a daily attendance sheet for record keeping purposes. Students must complete the required course hours to receive completion certificates.
The cost of books are included in the tuition cost, and will be provided before the first day of class.
Full payment of the course fee is expected at time of registration. Acceptable methods of payment are: cash, check, traveler’s checks, money orders, and the following credit cards: Master Card, Visa, Discover and American Express. Purchase orders from business organizations may be accepted to cover the participant’s course fee.

Course Schedules and Cancellations
Texas Wesleyan University Continuing Education reserves the right to change or cancel courses at any time. Notification of changes and cancellations will be made by email or telephone. Therefore, it’s critical for us to obtain your current contact information at time of registration. In the event that a course for which you have registered is cancelled, you may transfer to another course or receive a refund with no fees assessed.
To request a cancellation to an online program, please provide written notice by letter, email, or fax, or contact us by phone. A credit toward future courses of equal value will be provided.
Free parking is provided for all classes scheduled in all visitor and student designated areas. See Parking map.
Notices regarding closing due to weather or any other conditions will be posted on the University’s home page at txwes.edu, distributed to local media outlets, and available on the University’s Emergency Information Hotline.
